We were one of the first brokers to offer online insurance and as such we have some of the industry experts working for us. We've also been trading for years as a telephone broker so you know that we're here to stay.
When it comes to car insurance cover, drivers are always trying to get the best deal possible, even if this means lying to car insurance companies to do so. One of the main lies that people tell is the fact they have a car garage, their car is parked inside it and the garage is locked. This makes it appear the car is much safer and less likely to be vandalized or stolen. This in turn would reduce a car insurance premium. Although this may seem harmless to some, if the driver was found out, their car insurance policy would be considered totally invalid.
A recent survey has also found that as many as 10% of drivers in the UK have admitted to driving without insurance at some point during their 'driving career'. More disturbing was the fact some has also been on the road without an MOT and even a tax disc certificate. The reasons stated for this was to simply save money. Although this is understandable to a point as the cost of living is very high, it is still illegal and must be discouraged.
Companies such as insureyourmotor.co.uk and 4youngdrivers.co.uk offer car insurance at very reasonable rates. This is much more encouraging to motorists as they can feel perhaps the need to lie would no longer be required.
