Cheap van insurer shifts attentions elsewhere.

As a cheap van insurer, if I saw it, I'd say what it were. Something I remember Roy Walker often saying on a Saturday tea-time round at my house. So, if and when cheap van insurers might see a brightly yellowy, and brightly orangey coloured commercial van at the side of the highway, to the cheap van insurer, they'd naturally shout police! Because of course the cheap van insurer would be acknowledging the latest speed camera vans that are taking to the highways and byways of Greater Manchester at the moment. The new vans replace the previous and unmarked vehicles, favoured by many constabularies throughout the country in their ongoing bid to trap the unwary. The fractionally speeding unwary as is often the case. Each of these 10 vans has distinctive yellow and orange markings and carries the speed camera emblem which you may recognise from their previous jobs on roadside signs. And they also carry policemen and women too. So best be vigilant my cheaply insured van driving friends.

Safety groups say the vans will be easy for motorists to see, and will therefore help to cut speed on the region's most dangerous roads, acting as a useful deterrent. And possibly holding up the flow of traffic as everyone hits the middle pedal. What does seem out of the norm though, and should be welcome, and potentially avoid the aforementioned, is the location of temporary speed traps being made public on the website of Drivesafe, formerly known as the Greater Manchester Casualty Reduction Partnership. Mike Downes, Project Manager for Drivesafe, said: "We are not, and have never been, trying to catch the motorists out, and the new look of our vehicles highlights our desire to be clearly visible. By publicising on our website where we are enforcing speed limits, and by clearly marking our new vans, we feel we are giving each motorist fair warning. We are delighted with the finished look of the vans. The bright colours and clear signage means that the vehicles are eye-catching and easy to spot." This comes after publication of New Department of Transport guidelines that suggest all vans carrying out roadside speed checks must be easy for the general public to identify. Those eagle-eyed amongst you may well notice Vancover.co.uk's cheap van insurance whilst they're passing through this cheap van insuring site. Which is another reason to rejoice today.
